SAGGUBIYYAM PAYASAM/ SABUDANA KHEER

Ingredients required

  • Sabudana - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Cashew nuts - 10
  • Raisins - 10
  • Cardamom powder - ¼ tsp
  • Ghee - 3 tsp
  • Water - 3 to 4 cups


      Method to prepare
      1. Soak sabudana in 3 cups of water for 3 to 4 hours.
      2. Boil the milk and keep aside.
      3. Take a pan, add 1 tsp of Ghee and fry cashew nuts, raisins.
      4. Take a kadai, add soaked sabudana along with water if needed add some more water and let it boil for a couple of minutes.
      5. Add milk, let it cook for few more minutes. Add sugar, cardamom powder, fried cashew nuts & raisins, Ghee and cook for 
          5 minutes in low flame by stirring continiously.
      6. Delicious saggubiyyam payasam is ready. Serve it hot.
