ALMOND BUTTER COOKIES

Ingredients required
  • All purpose flour(Maida) - 2 cups
  • Baking powder - ¾ tsp
  • Eggs - 2
  • Sugar - ¾ cup
  • Almond paste - ¾ cup
  • Butter - ¾ cup
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
  • Finely chopped almonds - 3 tsp





      Method to prepare
      1. Take a bowl, beat eggs, butter until puffy and add almond paste, stir well.
      2. Take another bowl, mix maida, sugar, baking powder, salt and add to the above mixture.
      3. Stir perfectly, so that the mixture should well blended. If the mixture is sticky, you can add a little more maida.
      4. Make dough into one inch ball size, roll in the chopped almonds, slightly flatten them and place in the greased baking pan.
      5. Pre-heat oven to  1750C for 5 minutes and bake the cookies for 10 minutes or until they change into light brown in color. 
      6. Yummy Yummy almond butter cookies are ready.
