PESARATTU

Ingredients required
  • Mung bean/Green gram dal(pesalu) - 2 cups
  • Rice - ¾ cup
  • Chopped onion - 1 cup
  • Chopped ginger - 1 tsp
  • Cumin(jeera)seeds - ½ tsp
  • Salt - ½ tsp
  • Green chilly - 3
  • Ghee/Oil - 5 tsp








      Method to prepare
      1. Soak mung bean, rice for whole night. Strain them, add ginger, jeera, green chilly, sufficient water and grind as dosa batter.
      2. Take a tawa, allow to heat. Apply oil, take some mix of batter on Tawa and spread in circular motion.
      3. Spread chopped onion on dosa evenly, press them by using flat ladle and let it fry for one minute in medium flame and turn 
          other side.
      4. Cook on both sides by applying Ghee/oil and roll it.
      5. Crispy pesarattu is ready. Serve it with allam chutney, palli chutney or upma.
