- Potato - 250gm
- Salt - ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Red chilly powder - ¾ tsp
- Curry leaves -as required
- Chopped onion - ½ cup
- Garlic - 3
- Oil - 3 tsp
Method to prepare
1.Take a pan, add oil and allow to heat.
2. Add onion, fry for 3 minutes in medium flame and add curry leaves.
3. Finely chop the potatoes and add to onions.
4. Add turmeric powder, salt, close the lid and cook for 2 minutes in low flame.
5. Now add red chilly powder, mashed garlic and fry for 5 to 6 minutes in low flame(don't close the lid).
6. Spicy and hot alu fry is ready.
