BENDI GOBI CURRY

Ingredients required
  • Bendi - 250 gm
  • Cauliflower - 250 gm
  • Chopped onion - 1 cup
  • Sliced green chilly - 2
  • Chopped tomato - 1 cup
  • Curd - 2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - ¼ tsp
  • Cumin(jeera)seeds - ¼ tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - ½ tsp
  • Cumin(jeera)powder - 1 tsp
  • Cashew nut powder - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves - as required
  • Coriander leaves - as required
  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  • Salt - ¾ tsp
  • Red chilly powder - ¾ tsp
  • Oil - 4 tsp

      Method to prepare
      1. Cut bendi & gobi into pieces and keep aside.
      2. Take a pan, add oil and allow to heat.
      3. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, chopped onion, green chilly, fry for 3 minutes in medium flame.
      4. Now add ginger garlic paste, fry for 1 minute and add tomato, close the lid and cook for 2 minutes.
      5. Add, turmeric powder, salt, gobi, mix well, close the lid and cook for 2 to 3 minutes in medium flame.
      6. Then add bendi, curd, red chilly powder, cumin powder, cook for 2 minutes.
      7. Add sufficient water, cashew nut powder, coriander leaves, cook for 5 minutes in low flame and switch off the stove.
      8. Tasty tasty bendi gobi curry is ready. Serve hot with roti and enjoy the dish.
