- Mushroom - 250 gms
- Chopped onion - 1½ cup
- Chopped tomato - 1 cup
- Sliced green chilly - 1
- Ginger garlic paste - ½ tsp
- Cumin(jeera)powder - ½ tsp
- Coriander powder - ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Salt - ½ tsp
- Red chilly powder - ½ tsp tsp
- Cloves - 2
- Cinnamon stick - 1
- Coriander leaves - as required
- Milk - ½ cup
- Oil - 4 tsp
Method to prepare
1. Half slice the mushroom, boil in water for 3 to 4 minutes, strain them and keep aside.Grind the cloves, cinnamon stick and
keep aside.
2. Take a pan, add oil and allow to heat.
3. Add onion, green chilly, fry for 3 minutes in medium flame.
4. Then add, ginger garlic paste, fry for another 3 minutes in low flame.
5. Add tomato, close the lid and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
6. Now add, mushroom, turmeric, salt and fry for 2 minutes in low flame.
7. Add, red chilly powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, cloves and cinnamon stick powder, milk and mix well.
8. Then add sufficient water, close the lid and cook for 8 to 10 minutes in medium flame.
9. Add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
10. Tasty and healthy mushroom curry is ready. Serve with rice or roti.
