MUSHROOM FRY

Ingredients required
  • Mushroom - 250 gms
  • Chopped onion - 1 cup
  • Chopped tomato - ½ cup
  • Sliced green chilly - 2
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Salt - ¾ tsp
  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  • Red chilly powder - ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves - as required
  • Oil - 4 tsp



    Masala ingredients
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cinnamon stick - 1
  • Cumin(jeera)seeds- ½ tsp
  • Coriander seeds - 1 tsp

      Method to prepare
      1. Grind the masala ingredients into fine masala powder.
      2. Take a pan, add oil and allow to heat.
      3. Add onions, green chilly, fry for 3 minutes in medium flame. 
      4. Then add ginger garlic paste, fry for another 3 minutes in low flame.
      5. Add tomatoes, close the lid and cook for 3 minutes.
      6. Now add masala powder, mix well.
      7. Boil mushrooms in water for 3 minutes, cut into pieces, add to the curry and close the lid.
      8. Cook for minimum 10 to 12 minutes in low flame. Stir in the interval of every 3 minutes.
      9. Add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
    10. Tasty tasty mushroom fry is ready. serve with rice or roti.
