- Onion - 2
- Corn flour - 4 tsp
- Maida(all purpose flour) - 1½ cup
- Oil - to fry
- Salt - as per taste
- Water - as required
- Cooking soda - ¼ tsp
- Bread crumbs - 1½ cup
- Chilly powder - ½ tsp
Method to prepare
1. Take onion, cut in the shape of rings and keep them aside.
2. Mix corn flour, maida, chilly powder, salt, bread crumbs, cooking soda in a bowl by adding water, like a thick batter in
the consistency of dosa batter.
3. Take a small bowl, mix ½ tsp corn flour, ½ tsp maida and keep this dry flour aside.
4. Heat oil in a pan.
5. Sprinkle the dry flour on onion rings and dip in thick batter, take out, put in the oil and fry them until you get nice
golden in color.
6. Yummy onion rings are ready, serve hot.
