Ingredients required
- Boneless chicken small pieces - 250 gm
- Chopped ginger - ½ tsp
- Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
- Ajinamoto - ¼ tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - ½ tsp
- Corn flour - 2 tsp
- Egg - 1
- Salt - ¾ tsp
- Sugar - ½ tsp
- Red chilly powder - ½ tsp
- Chilly garlic paste - ½ tsp
- Chopped spring onions - 1 tsp
- Chopped onions - 3 tsp
- Capsicum - 1
- Cashew nuts - 10
- Soya sauce - 1½ tsp
- Vinegar - ½ tsp
- Oil - to fry
Method to prepare
1. Take a bowl, add chicken, half of the salt/ pepper powder/ajinamoto/ginger garlic paste/corn flour and mix well.
2. Now add egg, mix it and keep this chicken mix aside.
3.Take a kadai, pour oil and allow to heat.
4. Fry these chicken mix approximately 8 to 10 minutes in medium flame and keep aside.
5. Take a pan, add 3 tsp oil and allow to heat.
6. Add chopped onion, chopped ginger & garlic, cashew nuts, chopped capsicum, spring onions, rest of pepper powder/
salt/ ajinamoto, sugar, red chilly powder, chilly garlic paste, soya sauce, vinegar and fry for 1 minute in medium flame.
7. Now add little water, fry for half minute and add fried chicken pieces.
8. Now take a small bowl, add 1 tsp of corn flour, half a cup of water mix well and add to it.
9. Stir continuously until they mix well and switch off the flame.
10. Saucy & Spicy chilli chicken is ready.
