MASALA CHICKEN FRY

Ingredients required
  • Chicken  - 500 gm
  • Onion - 2
  • Green chilly - 2
  • Tomato - 2
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Yogurt(curd) - ½ cup
  • Turmeric powder -  ¼ tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves - as required
  • Oil - 4 tsp
      Masala ingredients
  • Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
  • Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper  - ¼ tsp
  • Cinnamon stick - 1
  • Cloves - 2
  • Black cardamom - 1
  • Mace(javitri) - 1
      Method to prepare
      1. Take a pressure cooker, add chicken, turmeric powder, salt, chopped tomato, curd, ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 whistles 
          and switch off the flame.
      2. Dry roast all masala ingredients, powder them and keep this masala powder aside.
      3. Take a pan, add oil and allow to heat.
      4. Add chopped onion, sliced green chilly and fry for 2 to 3 minutes in medium flame.
      5. Add excess chicken stock left in the pressure cooker and cook until total water evaporates.
      6. Now add cooked chicken and fry for 5 minutes in low flame.
      7. Then add prepared masala powder, mix well and fry for 10 minutes in low flame.
      8. Stir it in an interval of every 2 minutes.
      9. Add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
    10. Spicy & tasty masala chicken fry is ready. Serve it with roti or rice.
