Ingredients required
- Finely sliced kunduru - 500 gms
- Chopped tomato - 1½ cup
- Chopped onion - ½ cup
- Chopped green chilly - 1
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Salt - ¾ tsp
- Red chilly powder - ½ tsp
- Curry leaves - as required
- Coriander leaves - as required
- Oil - 5 tsp
Method to prepare
1. Take a pan, add oil and allow to heat.
2. Add curry leaves, sliced kunduru, fry them for 10 minutes in medium flame.
4. Add green chilly, chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, salt, mix well, close the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
5. Add red chilly powder, little water and cook for 5 to 7 minutes in low flame.
6. Add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
7. Tasty dondakaya tomato curry is ready. Serve with rice or roti.
