PALAK PANEER

Ingredients required

  • Palak - 500gms
  • Paneer - 300 gms
  • Fresh Cream - 1 tsp
  • Chopped Ginger - 1 tsp
  • Green Chilly - 4
  • Tomato - 1
  • Turmeric Powder - ¼ tsp
  • Amchur powder - ¼ tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 3 tsp



      Masala ingredients
  • Coriander seeds - ½ tsp
  • Cumin seeds - ¼ tsp
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cinnamon stick - 1
  • Black pepper - ¼ tsp
      Method to prepare
      1. Dry roast all masala ingredients, powder them and keep this masala powder aside.
      2. Take a pan and allow to heat.
      3. Add chopped palak leaves, green chilly, tomato, ginger to the pan, close the lid and cook for 10 minutes in medium flame.
      4. After the mixture gets cool, make a fine paste by adding sufficient water.
      5. Take another pan, add oil and allow to heat.
      6. Add palak paste, turmeric powder, salt, amchur powder, prepared masala powder, sufficient water and cook for 5 to 7 minutes 
          in medium flame by closing the lid.
      7. Fry paneer cubes in butter and add to the above palak mixture. Cook for another 3 minutes in low flame.
      8. Now add cream and switch off the flame.
      9. Tasty & delicious palak paneer is ready. Serve with veg. biryani or roti.
