- All purpose flour(maida) - 1 cup
- Suji(rava) - 3 cups
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Salt - pinch
- Ghee - 1 cup
- Oil - as required
- Cardamom powder - ¼ tsp
Method to prepare
1. Take maida in a bowl, add salt,1 cup suji and mix well by adding water.The consistency of batter should be thicker
than dosa batter.

2. Now add 5 tsp of oil to the batter, mix and keep aside for 3 hours.
3. After 3 hours, batter will become like a jelly, if not, add some maida to the batter.
4. Take a pan, add 1 tsp of ghee and allow to heat.
5. Add 2 cups of suji and fry for 4 minutes in low flame and keep aside.
6. Boil 3 cups of water in a pan, add fried suji little by little, mix well to avoid lumps.
7. Add sugar, cardamom powder, 2 tsp of ghee and cook for 3 minutes in low flame and switch off the flame.
8. Let it cool, make balls and keep aside.
9. Place tawa on stove and allow to heat.
10. Take a thick plastic sheet, place on plain platform, apply little oil to the sheet.
11. Put puri size batter on sheet, spread with your hands, place suji ball(quantity of the suji should be double the batter size)
at the center, close the dumpling.
12. spread the dumpling in the shape of circle by using your hand by applying ghee.
13. Place the sheet on the tawa in reverse direction by putting puri on tawa. Take out sheet slowly, fry on both sides by
applying ghee.
14. Do the same for rest of the batter and suji balls.
15. Mouth watering rava bobbatlu are ready. Enjoy the festival.
