BOMBAY HALWA

Enjoy the recipe

 Ingredients required 
  • Corn flour - 50 gms
  • Sugar – 175 gms
  • Ghee – 50 gms
  • Water – 125 ml
  • Food Color – Pinch
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Cashew Nuts – 15 nos
  • Cardamom powder-½tsp                                                                      
          
                                  





 Method to prepare:-

  1. Take sugar, add water to it.
  2. Add one tea spoon lime juice. By adding lime juice, the syrup will not get crystallize.
  3. Let sugar and water get boiled for 2 minutes.
  4. Switch off the stove.
  5. Take a bowl, add corn flour and water and mix them.
  6. Take a pan, add half tea spoon ghee and corn flour mixture stir it well and switch on the stove in low flame.
  7. Mixture getting thicken then switch off the stove and stir well.
  8. Add sugar syrup little by little
  9. After adding entire syrup switch on the stove.
  10. Now add ghee little by little and add color and cardamom powder
  11. The mixture become like jelly, then add cashew to it and switch off the flame.
  12. Pour the mixture on plate. After one hour cut into pieces.
  13. Thus the delicious Bombay Halwa is ready to eat.
