Ingredients required
- Corn flour - 50 gms
- Sugar – 175 gms
- Ghee – 50 gms
- Water – 125 ml
- Food Color – Pinch
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Cashew Nuts – 15 nos
- Cardamom powder-½tsp
- Take sugar, add water
to it.
- Add one tea spoon
lime juice. By adding lime juice, the syrup will not get crystallize.
- Let sugar and water
get boiled for 2 minutes.
- Switch off the stove.
- Take a bowl, add corn
flour and water and mix them.
- Take a pan, add half
tea spoon ghee and corn flour mixture stir it well and switch on the stove
in low flame.
- Mixture getting
thicken then switch off the stove and stir well.
- Add sugar syrup
little by little
- After adding entire
syrup switch on the stove.
- Now add ghee little
by little and add color and cardamom powder
- The mixture become
like jelly, then add cashew to it and switch off the flame.
- Pour the mixture on
plate. After one hour cut into pieces.
- Thus the delicious Bombay Halwa is ready to eat.
