CHEESE STICKS

Ingredients required

  • Grated cheese (mozzarella) -  5 tsp
  • Bread crumbs - 1½ cup
  • All purpose flour(maida) - 1½ cup
  • Corn flour - 4 tsp
  • Cooking soda - ¼ tsp
  • Red chilly powder - ½ tsp
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
  • Water - as required
  • Oil - to fry


     


      Method to prepare
      1. Mix all purpose flour, corn flour, bread crumbs, cooking soda, salt, chilly powder in a pan.
      2. Add water to it to make a thick batter.
      3. Mix grated cheese to the batter.
      4. Cook this batter for 2 to 3 minutes in low flame until batter becomes thicker(dough).
      5. Knead the dough for one minute.
      6. Make this dough in different shapes as you like and keep aside.
      7. Take a pan, pour oil and allow to heat.
      8. Drop these shapes in oil and deep fry them in low flame for 2 minutes and in medium flame until they change into golden brown in 
          color.
      9. Mouth watering cheese sticks are ready.
    10. Serve with tomato ketchup for your evening snack.
