DUM CHICKEN CURRY

Ingredients required

  • Chicken - 500 gms
  • Curd - 200 gms
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Onion paste - 3 tsp
  • Oil - 5 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Turmeric - ¼ tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - ½ tsp
  • Jeera powder - ½ tsp
  • Black pepper  - ½ tsp

  • Black Elachi(Cardamom) - 1 no
  • Bay leaves - 2 no
  • Coriander leaves - as required
  • Pudina leaves - as required
      Method to prepare
      1. Add chicken to pan, add curd, ginger garlic paste, onion paste, salt, turmeric, red chilly powder, coriander powder,
          black pepper, black elachi, bay leaves, coriander leaves, pudina leaves, oil and mix well.
      2. Keep it aside for at-least 3 hours.
      3. Keep the pan on the stove cover the lid so that no steam will release.
      4. Cook in low flame for 30 minutes.
      5. Garnish with coriander leaves.
      6. Thus the spicy dum chicken curry is ready to serve.
