MYSORE BONDA

Ingredients Required 

  • Maida - 1 Cup
  • Curd - 2 Cup
  • Salt - as per requirement
  • Onions - 1 no
  • Green Chilly - 2 no
  • Jeera -  ½  tsp 
  • Baking Soda - ½  tsp 
  • Oil - sufficient to fry






      Method to prepare
      1. Take a bowl, mix maida, curd, jeera, salt, baking soda and four tea spoons of oil.
      2. The batter should be thick in consistency as vada batter.
      3. Keep the mixed batter aside for at-least 4 hours.
      4. Then add jeera, onion pieces, grated green chillies to the batter.
      5. Take a pan, allow oil to heat.
      6. Put small bondas which are round in shape into the oil.
      7. Let the bondas fry in low flame.
      8. As soon as bondas change into golden brownish color take out from oil.
      9. Thus spongy and puffy Mysore Bondas are ready to serve.
