PEPPER CHICKEN FRY

Ingredients required
  • Chicken pieces - 500 gm
  • Chopped onion - ½ cup
  • Sliced green chilly - 1
  • Chopped tomato - 1½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste - ½ tsp
  • Yogurt(curd) - 1 tsp
  • Cumin(jeera) powder - ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder - ½ tsp
  • Pepper powder - ¾ tsp
  • Coriander leaves - as required
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cinnamon stick - 1
  • Turmeric powder -  ¼ tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 4 tsp

      Method to prepare
      1. Take a pressure cooker, add chicken, turmeric powder, salt, tomato, curd, ginger garlic paste and cook until 2 whistles 
          and switch off the flame.
      2. Powder the cloves, cinnamon stick and keep this powder aside.
      3. Take a pan, add oil and allow to heat.
      4. Add onion, green chilly and fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
      5. Add excess chicken stock left in the pressure cooker and cook until total water evaporates.
      6. Now add cooked chicken and fry for 5 minutes in low flame.
      7. Then add cumin powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, cloves, cinnamon stick powder, mix well
          and fry for 10 minutes in low flame.
      8. Stir it in an interval of every 2 minutes.
      9. Add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
    10. Hot & spicy pepper chicken fry is ready.
