Method to prepare
1. Soak urad dal, rice for 2 hours.(Adding little rice makes vada crispy & batter will not absorb too much oil)
2. Grind them by adding salt, green chilly into thick batter.Add cumin seeds to the batter.
3. Take kadai, pour oil and allow to heat.
4. Wet your left palm, take some batter , place on your palm, spread, keep hole at the centre and put into the oil.
Do the same procedure to the rest of the batter.
5. Fry on both sides until they change into golden in color.
6. Yes, colorful vadas are ready.
7. Serve these vadas as per your choice like chutney, sambar, chicken curry.........
