- Mutton - 500 gms
- Curd - 200 gms
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Onion - 1
- Oil - 5 tsp
- Coriander leaves - as required
- Pudina leaves - as required
- Salt - As per taste
Masala ingredients
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - ½ tsp
- Jeera powder - ½ tsp
- Black pepper - ½ tsp
- Black Elachi(Cardamom) - 1 no
- Bay leaves - 2 no
- Mace(Javitri) - 1
- Sajeera - ¼ tsp
Method to prepare
1. Finely slice the onion, deep fry them until they change into golden brown in color and keep these fried onion aside.
2. Take a thick bottom pan add Mutton, curd, ginger garlic paste, fried onion, salt, coriander leaves, pudina leaves, oil, all masala
ingredients and mix well.
3. Keep it aside for at-least 3 hours.
4. Place the pan on the stove cover the lid so that no steam will release.
5. Cook in low flame for 30 minutes.
6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
7. Spicy hyderabadi dum mutton curry is ready. Serve with coconut rice or veg. biryani or paratha as you like.
