- Paneer - 300 gms
- Oil - to fry
- Chopped Onion - 1 cup
- Chopped green chilly - 1
- Tomato puree - ½ cup
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 tsp
- Cloves - 2
- Cinnamon stick - 1
- Shahjeera - pinch
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder - ½ tsp
- Cumin seeds powder - ¼ tsp
- Coriander powder - ¼ tsp
- Amchoor powder - ¼ tsp
- Cashew nuts - 10
- Raisins - 15
- sugar - ¼ tsp
- All purpose flour(maida) - 1 tsp
- Corn flour - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves - 1 tsp
Method to prepare
1. Take a pan, add 3 tsp oil and allow to heat.
2. Add cloves, cinnamon stick, shahjeera, onion, green chilly, ginger garlic paste and fry them for 3 minutes in medium flame.
3. Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, salt, fry for 2 minutes in low flame.
4. Grind this by adding half of the cashew nuts, sufficient water to make masala paste and keep aside.
5. Take three-fourth of paneer, cut the panner in the shape of triangles, slit them by leaving the tip closed as shown below,
so that the stuff can be filled.
6. Take a bowl, add remaining paneer(mashed), raisins, cashew nuts(mashed), amchoor powder, pinch of salt, coriander
leaves, mix well and keep this paneer mix side.
7. Now take a small bowl, add maida, cornflour, mix with water like dosa batter and keep this flour batter aside.
8. Take a kadai, add oil and allow to heat.
9. Now take paneer pieces, stuff with paneer mix, dip the edges of the pieces in the flour batter and put into the oil.
10. Fry on both sides and keep aside.
11. Take a pan, add 2 tsp of oil. Add curry leaves, prepared masala paste, red chilly powder, cumin powder, coriander powder,
sugar, sufficient water and cook for 4 to 5 minutes in low flame.
12. Now add fried paneer pieces, cook for 2 minutes. Add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
13. Delicious Paneer pasanda is ready. Serve it with nan roti or vegetable rice.
